Advisory Boards
Disability Claims Solutions was incorporated in March of 2008 to bring together a wealth of information from many different sources nationwide. This one action centralized an immense information highway of resources which the company now has available to customers as they move through the complex disability claims process with our help.
DCS, Inc. has seven advisory boards:
Legal Advisory Board – We have a list of attorneys we can refer our clients to when it is obvious there are legal issues involved with the claim that require legal advice or litigation. DCS, Inc. attempts to refer only those attorneys who also take ERISA cases in litigation and who have extensive experience in litigating private disability claims. We often receive calls from insureds asking for attorney referrals, but the objective of our legal advisory board is to have an on-hand list of attorneys in the United States who are successful in litigating insurance cases. Also, we maintain lists of attorneys with whom we work, and who can provide DCS, Inc., or our clients with legal assistance if required.
Vocational Advisory Board - DCS, Inc. maintains lists of Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists with the credential of Certified Rehabilitation Counselors who can make their services available to our customers for the preparation of Vocational Disability Reports, Transferable Skills Analyses and Labor Market Surveys. Most of our vocational specialists also have Masters Degrees in vocational rehabilitation.
Medical Review Advisory Board – DCS, Inc. has been very fortunate to accept offers of advocacy services from a wide range of physicians, nurses, and therapists. We have specialists on board such as: obstetricians, gastroenterologists, ophthalmologists, environmental disease specialists, rheumatologists, infectious disease specialists, experienced medical review personnel, medical board examiners and chiropractors. These physicians render advocacy assistance directly to DCS, Inc., and/or can provide review services to clients.
Underwriting Advisory Board – DCS, Inc. also has an individual on board with extensive insurance underwriting and expert witness experience.
Private Investigations Advisory Board – DCS, Inc. has investigative resources available to clients including private investigators, field representatives, and others. DCS, Inc. has the resources to conduct our own surveillance should the need arise.
Social Security Advocacy Board– There are also several resources we highly recommend to provide social security disability income advocacy and can make referrals for those clients who wish to make application for SSI or SSDI.
State Advisory Boards – DCS, Inc. also has various state resources in the form of foundations, advocacy groups etc. to which we can refer clients who wish to file complaints, or publish complaints concerning any disability insurance company. These resources also include media contacts to get various complaints reported in the press.
Anyone who would like to be listed as a member of one or more of DCS, Inc.’s advisory boards can contact Linda Nee and ask to be placed on our lists of available resources. We appreciate all those who offer advocacy or paid services to our clients.
