It is truly amazing what those who support insureds and claimants have to go through at times. Most readers are well aware that my articles report on all insurance companies when they are found to have violated the public trust. Yep! I’m harassed again.
Three people employed by Unum, two of which I know are managers, are continuing to harass me with Internet pranks that are so immature and bothersome. Several months ago, these same employees sent my DCS contact information to all franchise list servers and conference halls in the State of Maine. Supposedly, it looked as though I was attempting to buy a franchise *heavy equipment anyone?), and book “I hate Unum parties” all over the state. Actually, the conference center managers were pretty darned smart to realize there was something wrong with a request for a “I hate Unum seminar.”
Although we know who these people are, Unum’s Marketing Chief refused to “fix the problem” and therefore I have been left with thousands of phone calls and emails. In an effort to “turn the worm” so to speak, I returned as many phone calls and requests from franchises to give them the names of the people who are attempting to transact buiness in my name. Some of the emails the pranksters sent solicited business up to $200,000 which is an amount someone suggested I report to the FBI.” There are Marriotts all over Maine who now know the names of the Unum employees who committed a felony by attempting business in the name of DCS. No one books “I hate anything” seminars.
Please keep in mind, it isn’t Unum Group as a corporation who is doing this, but a few big dummy employees who have brought upon themselves a great deal of trouble. You see, two weeks ago another rash of harassing solicitations went out to all of the car dealerships in Maine asking for information for DCS to buy a car, even a BMW. As it turns out, these dealers tell me they aren’t happy with false leads, it costs them money, and they know exactly the website the requests went through. A few dealerships have reported the incident themselves to the local police who want the managers to press charges. Turns out solicitation where large sums of money are mentioned in the email is a felony.
So, you see the tables have been turned a little here because I returned all the calls, answered all the emails and gave them the names and IP addresses of the Unum harassing village idiots. I would be very surprised if at least some of the franchises, and Maine dealerships don’t bring charges against the Unum employees, who in a very immature and bungling way actually think they are harassing me. Unum could also be implicated, and the three musketeers could find themselves out in the street with no jobs.
I haven’t even begun to describe the “class action” lawsuits that could be filed against the U-nummies naming hotels, dealership, and franchise list serves etc. as damaged parties. Or, me personally, as indicated in the dirty, profane emails that started this whole thing.
So, come on, guys and gal……I have nothing negative to say about Unum until the company violates the public trust as a disability insurer. It’s my right to challenge a publicly traded corporation deliberately depriving insureds of legitimate benefits. Stop acting like fools and recognize the jig is up. I’m going to turn the worm one way or the other.
