Bye, Bye Newsletter

Recently, I sent word out to my clients that I would be discontinuing the DCS Newsletter emailed to them every month. In recent years The Newsletter seemed to be getting very little readership. Further, some clients reported to me that they felt the information was repetitive for most months and admitted they didn’t read it. Therefore, as a business decision, I discontinued it.

There are two reasons why the DCS newsletters may have been repetitive: 1) new Clients are added each month and have a “need to know”, and 2) I began to get the picture that “best practice” and “best advice” wasn’t being followed regardless of how many times I repeated it. In fact, it must seem that Lindanee’s Blog is a bit redundant as well, and yet I continue to receive calls from insureds who are not Clients asking for information that was posted on the Blog several times.

There are also those who suggested that I discontinued the Newsletter because I felt unappreciated. There are many, many people who send me emails and phone calls expressing how grateful they are for what I do and how it’s helped them. I receive donations from my website from people who DO read the Blog and are not Clients.

So no, I don’t feel unappreciated, but thankful to those who share feedback and continue to support me and my efforts to continue to provide information that can be used to successfully manage claims. Although I have made the decision to discontinue writing the Newsletter, information will continue to be posted on my website located at: http://www.disabilityclaimssolutions.com for those who are interested. Lindanee’s Blog is also uploaded daily to my website.

I sincerely hope that disability claims insureds continue to recognize “the process” for what it is and do the best they can to continue to receive benefits in positive ways. It is very important to “position” things with insurers, and most do not know how to do that. DCS remains in business with a 99% success rate in all areas.

DCS is ready and willing to assist you, if you feel you continue to need help in these troubling times. I’m not going anywhere and most people know where to find me.
