Changes At DCS

Hello. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted any articles and you’ve probably placed me on your pay no mind list. I don’t blame you. But, I’ve decided to make quite a few changes involving DCS in order to reach the largest number of people and continue to provide much needed information to those receiving disability benefits.

Lindanee’s Blog began in the year 2000 with feature articles I called “Inside UnumProvident.” At the time, 60 Minutes and NBC Dateline had already outed UnumProvident as an unfair disability insurer. Not surprisingly, there was so much misinformation on the Internet that a man by the name of Jim Mooney began a newsletter he sent out to attorneys and other interested parties, providing better information, hopefully to correct what info was out there. I was a part of this initiative for several years until I started Lindanee’s Blog almost 25 years ago.

In the past, the Blog has been very popular and many people have been able to find out information about the claims process they never would have known from any other source. However, since COV_D, there has been little interest in relying on credible information to manage claims. I’m not sure why this is, but the lack of public exposure to the disclosure of egregious claims practices probably gives the impression that the disability claim industry is fair and above board. But, that’s not true at all.

As a disability claims consultant with close to 30 years of experience on both sides of the working fence, there is little I haven’t seen take place within the claims review process. Today, the trend is to manage through the paperwork and medical reviews on your own. And, that’s OK, but from where I’m sitting not too many people are getting it right.

This can only work to the advantage of insurance companies and eager attorneys, but that doesn’t help you, the insured. I’ve been trying to help people with their disability claims for a long time and there is no reason for me to change that. But, I’m going to do it  differently. We are living in a different environment within the claims industry, and it requires a change in claims management to continue the 99% success rate DCS has had.

I’ve asked my webmaster to make changes to my website located at:
https://www.disabilityclaimssolutions.com that will contain much more information. Future articles will be uploaded directly to my website, which will become the major point of contact with me and my writings. I’m going to leave Lindanee’s Blog active since there are over 3,000 articles here you can Search for. Newcomers to my website will find a contact form that can be completed to request contact with me. I will continue to post articles of interest to those with disability claims, but the website will be the major point of contact for everything concerning disability claims that comes from me.

Disability Claims Solutions, Inc. will remain a Consulting Company providing fee-based services to those with disability claims, both ERISA and non-ERISA.

The DCS Monthly Newsletter, in the past, directed only to DCS Clients will be discontinued. I will be communicating proprietary information to each individual client as needed, and other helpful information will always be available on my website. Again, my website will be the major point of interest for all matters relating to DCS, Inc.

Managing a disability claim is not the same as you may be used to in the past. It is all changed. I will let you know when my website is ready to go. I am ready to assist you with new strategies and ideas to help you to keep your claims up to date and approved. Although there is no guarantee of success, having a qualified, experienced consultant on board can provide much needed information to ensure claims are properly supported.

Please visit my website for information and make it your primary source of information for working through a disability claim. I’m here to help and waiting to hear from you.
