I’ve been doing business with PayPal for over twenty years and I’ve never had any problems. From time to time my clients have said they didn’t want to send their fees to PayPal and I never thought too much about it until now.
There is no reason why PayPal would deactivate my account but the bad thing about it is that they won’t release my money for 4 months. Without a warrant, or probable cause, PayPal is keeping my balance on which they no doubt will earn interest for those four months. This puts a kink into my business for the next couple of months.
At this point I’m suggesting that anyone who has a PayPal account and keeps a balance there, should immediately remove it. I can understand now why my clients complained about using it. In the meantime, if you are a client of DCS, please contact me for my address to send a check for now.
