I’m sure most of us have been watching the deterioration of our economy making it harder and harder to make ends meet. At the same time, insureds and claimants are also watching the aggressive “risk management” insurers are now inflicting wondering how long their benefits will last.
As of today, DCS, Inc. will be reducing it’s fixed sign-on fee to half until December 31, 2024. Although I’ve written many articles about the importance of retaining a Consultant prior to a claims denial, I’m sure many insureds feel they have to pass on the opportunity because of the inability to afford the Consulting fees.
In order to try to do my part, I’m willing to reduce my fixed sign on fee by half for a limited period of time. We are coming up on the end of the year profitability period and insureds may benefit from having an expert claims manager supporting them. End of the year profitability investigations have already begun, but the need to “do things better begins now.”
Remember, I’ve always said that the best APPEAL to have is one where your claim IS NEVER DENIED IN THE FIRST PLACE. The role of Consultants, particularly one who has had first hand experience with an insurance company managing claims, can often make the different between a successful/paid claim, and one that is denied.
